Jet Pump
aranzu provides a range of Jet Pumps for conveying slurry and aggregate streams. Most mineral and mining processes make use of centrifugal slurry pumps to convey aggregates and/or slurry in a pipeline. These units tend to require high levels of maintenance when conveying coarse aggregate material at the required elevated velocities. Jet pumps are pumps with no moving parts and therefore have greatly reduced maintenance requirements.
aranzu manufacture their jet pumps from specially selected cast materials to ensure a jet pump that can stand up to any process environment.
Jet pumps are well suited in applications where stabilisation of flow in pipelines are required, which translates into increased reliability and productivity. The jets pump is self-regulating by increasing or decreasing the rate of solids induction to stabilise the flow rate. Jet pumps are able to shut down at any time and restarted as required, without priming, unlike most slurry centrifugal pumping systems.
Jet pumps are well suited to extract solids from bins and/or hoppers. They have the added advantage that the pump can be shut down and then restarted without the need for additional agitation of the settled solids bed in the bin.
